យោងតាមបង្ហោះផ្សាយលើបណ្តាញសង្គមរបស់ឯកឧត្តមឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ប្រាក់ សុខុន រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីការបរទេស និងសហប្រតិបត្តិការអន្តរជាតិ នៅថ្ងៃទី១២ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ បានឱ្យដឹងថា ឯកឧត្តម បានសន្ទនាតាមទូរស័ព្ទជាមួយលោកជំទាវ Allison Hooker អនុរដ្ឋលេខាធិការនៃក្រសួងការបរទេសអាម៉េរិកទទួលបន្ទុកកិច្ចការនយោបាយ ដើម្បីពិភាក្សាស្វែងរកមធ្យោបាយក្នុងការពង្រឹងទំនាក់ទំនងទ្វេភាគីកម្ពុជា-អាម៉េរិកបន្ថែមទៀត និងកិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងក្នុងការធានាឱ្យបាននូវដំណោះស្រាយដោយសន្តិវិធីចំពោះជម្លោះព្រំដែនរវាងកម្ពុជា និងថៃ។ ហើយភាគីទាំងពីរក៏បានស្វាគមន៍ចំពោះការបន្តសន្ទុះជាវិជ្ជមានក្នុងទំនាក់ទំនងទ្វេភាគី ហើយបានអះអាងការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តសាជាថ្មី ក្នុងការពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការលើគ្រប់វិស័យដែលមានផលប្រយោជន៍ទៅវិញទៅមក រួមមាន វិស័យការពារជាតិ សន្តិសុខ និងកិច្ចខំប្រឹងប្រែងប្រយុទ្ធប្រឆាំងនឹងឧក្រិដ្ឋកម្មឆ្លងដែន។
នៅក្នុងជំនួបនោះផងដែរ ឯកឧត្តមឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ក៏បានថ្លែងអំណរគុណសហរដ្ឋអាម៉េរិកចំពោះការគាំទ្រលើដំណើរការសន្តិភាពរវាងកម្ពុជា-ថៃ និងបានបញ្ជាក់នូវការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តឡើងវិញរបស់កម្ពុជាក្នុងការអនុវត្តបទឈប់បាញ់ពេញលេញកាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៨ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ សេចក្តីថ្លែងការណ៍រួមទីក្រុងគូឡាឡាំពួដែលបានចុះហត្ថលេខានៅថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ និងសេចក្តីប្រកាសរួមនៃកិច្ចប្រជុំពិសេសលើកទី៣ នៃគណៈកម្មាធិការព្រំដែនទូទៅកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ដែលបានប្រព្រឹត្តទៅកាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥។ ឯកឧត្តមឧបនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី បានគូសបញ្ជាក់បន្ថែមអំពីសារៈសំខាន់នៃការដោះស្រាយជម្លោះតាមរយៈមធ្យោបាយសន្តិវិធី និងស្របតាមច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ។
On 12 May 2026, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a telephone conversation with the Honorable Allison Hooker, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs to discuss ways to further strengthen Cambodia-U.S. bilateral relations and efforts to ensure the peaceful resolution of the border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand.
Both sides welcomed the continued positive momentum in bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation across areas of mutual interest, including defense, security, and efforts to combat transnational crimes. His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister also expressed appreciation for the United States’ support for the Cambodia-Thailand peace process and reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to the full implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement of 28 July 2025, the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration signed on 26 October 2025, and the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special General Border Committee Meeting held on 27 December 2025. His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister further emphasized the importance of resolving disputes through peaceful means and in accordance with international law.
